John Brender is an accomplished attorney who has spent his career making sure our community is safe, first by prosecuting those who were guilty of crimes and later as a defense attorney making sure each citizen in our community has the protections afforded to them under the Bill of Rights. He has earned the respect of Judges and peers alike for his integrity, skill, and hard work.
John served as an Assistant District Attorney in Dallas County for over six years. During this time, he realized that fairness is essential to our criminal justice system. John believes that it is imperative that a Judge be tough on crime while also creating the environment the founders of our criminal justice system envisioned to ensure the accused are innocent until proven guilty.
John is married to Brittyn Brender, actively involved in the Tarrant County community, and they have two children who attend their local FWISD elementary school. The family are members of First United Methodist Church in downtown Fort Worth.
